After a highly successful 2014 for the Suzuki Swift, the Japanese carmaker is not resting on its laurels, with new updates and refreshes introduced to the range for 2015.
Suzuki sold more than 11,000 Swift cars in 2014. It is hoping to capitalise on this popularity by introducing free satellite navigation in the SZ3 three and five-door models, and it is now also releasing a new Dualjet SZ4 five-door model.
The Dualjet model will include a 1.2-litre engine that will use twin fuel injectors to provide a fuel economy figure of 65.7mpg when on the ED Combined fuel consumption cycle - a 16 percent improvement on the current engine. Engine efficiency is also improved and with just 99g/km of CO2 emissions it will be exempt from road tax, helping you to cut down on running costs.
Dualjet technology places the fuel injectors very close to the engine inlet valves, meaning that fuel atomisation is finer and that the engine operates more efficiently for better performance and economy. The power available will be 88bhp and the gear ratios have been adjusted slightly to allow for more flexibility, while automatic start/stop technology will mean you save fuel when you are stationary in traffic.
All five Swift models come fitted with seven airbags and ESP as standard and the SZ3 model features 16" alloy wheels and Bluetooth® connectivity to help you stay in touch while you travel.
