Geely Monjaro EM-i Makes European Debut at Paris Motor Show

The new Geely Monjaro EM-i has made its European debut at the Paris Motor Show on 12 October 2026. Following its international rollout, the appearance marks another step in Geely’s growing presence in Europe.

Designed around space, comfort and electrified performance, the flagship plug-in hybrid SUV adds a new dimension to the brand’s expanding range.

What is the Geely Monjaro EM-i?

The Monjaro EM-i is Geely’s first global plug-in hybrid SUV in the D-segment - a category that includes larger family SUVs.

It takes centre stage in Geely’s Paris display alongside the fully electric EX2 and EX5, and the Starray EM-i plug-in hybrid. Together, these models demonstrate the growing choice of electrified vehicles across the Geely range.

Plug-in hybrid power and intelligent all-wheel drive

The Monjaro EM-i uses Geely’s EM-i Super Hybrid technology, designed to balance performance with efficient energy use.

A plug-in hybrid combines a petrol engine with an electric motor and a rechargeable battery. With regular charging, this can allow everyday journeys to be covered using electric power, while retaining petrol power for longer trips.

Geely’s European preview highlights intelligent all-wheel drive, a chassis tuned to European standards and adaptive suspension technology. These developments are intended to support comfort and control across changing road conditions.

Space, comfort and connected technology

The Monjaro EM-i is built on Geely’s GEA-Evo architecture, developed for electrified vehicles with an emphasis on interior space and safety.

Geely describes a spacious cabin focused on passenger comfort. Outside, Scandinavian-inspired styling combines clean design with confident SUV proportions.

The European preview gives an indication of the model’s direction, but UK equipment, trim levels and interior configurations will be confirmed separately.

When will the Geely Monjaro EM-i arrive in the UK?

Geely Auto UK has identified the Monjaro EM-i as an expansion of its product portfolio into the D-SUV segment.
