Subaru's Upcoming Electric Line-Up
Subaru has just announced plans to launch three exciting new electric models in the UK starting in 2026:
Subaru Solterra - New Variant: Three years on from the launch of Subaru's first electric SUV, the Solterra returns with significant updates. With 252 kW (344ps) of power, a 0-62 mph time of 5.1 seconds and an improved 73.1 kWh battery, the new Solterra will offer a range of over 310 miles. Charging times have been improved too, with a 10-80% top-up achievable in just 30 minutes, even in colder conditions. There's also refreshed styling inside and out, an upgraded 14-inch infotainment display, and a towing capacity doubled to 1500 kg.

Subaru Uncharted - Brand new for the EV market, the Subaru Uncharted is the brand's first all-electric compact SUV, purpose-built for outdoor explorers and driving enthusiasts. It offers Subaru's renowned ruggedness with sharp on-road agility, 210mm ground clearance, a tight 5.5m turning circle, and a well-equipped cabin featuring a squared steering wheel and dual wireless chargers. Three drivetrain options will be available including All-Wheel Drive with dual motors delivering up to 292 miles of range, or Front-Wheel Drive with up to 363 miles. A 22 kW on-board charger allows a rapid 10-80% charge in just 30 minutes.

Subaru E-Outback: Drawing on 30 years of Outback heritage, the E-Outback brings electric power to Subaru's flagship crossover. Powered by a 74.7 kWh battery producing 280 kW (380ps), it accelerates from 0 to 62 mph in just 4.4 seconds and offers a range of over 279 miles*. Equipped with Symmetrical All-Wheel Drive, 210mm ground clearance, dual X-MODE for off-road terrains, and 1500 kg towing capacity, it remains true to the Outback spirit of adventure. Safety features include Subaru's latest passive and active technologies including Emergency Driving Stop and EyeSight Driver Assist. Plus, its spacious interior offers ample luggage space for all your adventures.
