The new Mazda CX-5 uses a 2.5-litre e-Skyactiv G petrol engine with Mazda’s 24V M Hybrid mild-hybrid system, producing 141PS and 238Nm of torque. Every model has a six-speed automatic gearbox, making it easy to drive in town and comfortable on longer journeys.
The new CX-5 is a mild hybrid. Its small battery and electric motor assist the petrol engine, with energy recovered during deceleration. You don’t need to plug it in, and it isn’t designed to cover journeys on electric power alone. If you’re looking for a plug-in hybrid, our team can also introduce you to the Mazda CX-60 and CX-80.

Yes. Prime-Line includes wired Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, while Centre-Line, Exclusive-Line and Homura offer wireless connectivity. This allows you to access compatible smartphone navigation, music and communication apps through the car’s display.
The new CX-5 offers 583 litres of boot space with the rear seats in place, including underfloor storage. Fold the rear seats down and capacity increases to up to 2,019 litres when measured to the ceiling. The 40:20:40 split-folding rear seats give you flexibility when carrying passengers and longer items.
