The UK Mazda6e features a 78kWh lithium iron phosphate (LFP) battery across both trim levels. This means you can choose between Takumi and Takumi Plus based on their interior finishes and additional equipment without choosing a different battery.

Using a suitable DC rapid charger under the right conditions, the Mazda6e can charge from 30% to 80% in approximately 15 minutes. A full charge using a 7.2kW home charger takes around 11 hours and 48 minutes. Actual charging times depend on charger output, battery temperature, starting charge level and conditions.
