The Mazda6e is an all-electric executive saloon and hatchback launched for 2025/2026. It replaces the previous petrol-powered Mazda6 with a modern EV platform, combining premium comfort, advanced technology and Mazda’s driver-focused design philosophy.
The Mazda6e offers an official WLTP driving range of up to approximately 345 miles from its 78 kWh battery. Real-world range will vary depending on driving conditions, weather and driving style.
The Mazda6e supports rapid DC charging at speeds up to 195 kW, allowing charging from approximately 30% to 80% in around 15 minutes. Using a typical 7.4 kW home wallbox charger, a full charge from 0-100% takes around 11.5 hours.
The Mazda6e uses a 78 kWh usable LFP battery pack designed for durability and long-term performance. Mazda also provides an 8-year / 100,000-mile battery warranty for added peace of mind.
The Mazda6e can accelerate from 0-62 mph in approximately 7.9 seconds and has a top speed of around 109 mph. Power comes from a single rear-mounted electric motor producing 258PS, giving the Mazda6e a rear-wheel drive layout focused on smooth, balanced driving dynamics.
The Mazda6e offers approximately 466 litres of boot space with the rear seats in place. Folding the 60/40 split rear seats expands load capacity to over 1,000 litres. There is also a useful 72-litre front storage compartment for charging cables and smaller items.
