​Geely Auto UK Partners with Coventry City FC as Green 4 Geely Coventry Officially Opens​

It is an exciting day for Geely in Coventry, with Geely Auto UK today announcing a new multi-year partnership with Coventry City Football Club, as Green 4 Geely Coventry officially opens its doors at 540 London Road.

Geely Auto UK has become Coventry City FC’s Official Vehicle Partner and Official Sleeve Partner, bringing together one of the world’s largest automotive manufacturers and one of English football’s most historic clubs.

The announcement comes on the same day that Green 4 Motor Company officially launches its new Geely dealership in Coventry, giving drivers across the city and surrounding area a new local destination to discover the Geely range.

Geely Auto Joins Forces with Coventry City FC

As part of the new partnership, the Geely Auto logo will feature on the sleeve of Coventry City FC’s first-team shirts, while Geely Auto UK and the Club will work together on a programme of supporter experiences, community initiatives and other activities.

The partnership represents another significant step in Geely Auto’s growth in the UK and strengthens the brand’s already established links with Coventry.

Coventry has a proud automotive heritage and remains an important centre for the wider Geely organisation, with automotive design and engineering operations based in the city as part of Geely’s international research, development and design network.

Green 4 Geely Coventry Officially Opens

The announcement makes 21 August 2026 an especially exciting day for us at Green 4 Motor Company, as we also officially welcome customers to our new Green 4 Geely Coventry dealership.

Located at 540 London Road, Coventry, CV3 4EW, the new dealership operates alongside our established Mazda site and becomes Green 4 Motor Company’s second Geely location, joining Green 4 Geely Leamington Spa.

The launch means customers across Coventry and the surrounding area can now discover Geely’s growing range of electric and plug-in hybrid vehicles locally, arrange a test drive and speak directly with our dedicated Geely team.

For Green 4 Motor Company, the opening represents another important chapter in our relationship with Geely Auto and continues the expansion of the brand across the region.

The partnership arrives as Coventry City prepares for the 2026/27 Premier League season, providing Geely Auto with a major platform as the brand continues to establish itself in the UK.

Under the agreement, supporters will see the Geely Auto name represented on the Club’s first-team shirt sleeves, while the partnership is also set to extend beyond matchday branding through fan, community and commercial initiatives.

Michael Yang, Managing Director of Geely Auto UK, highlighted Coventry City’s heritage, ambition and close connection with its community as important factors behind the partnership, alongside Geely’s own automotive design and engineering links with the city.

An Exciting Time for Geely Auto in the UK

The partnership and opening of Green 4 Geely Coventry come during a period of significant growth for Geely Auto in the UK.

The brand entered the UK passenger car market with the all-electric Geely EX5, before expanding its line-up with the Geely Starray EM-i plug-in hybrid.

The range is now growing further with the arrival of the new Geely EX2, a compact all-electric model designed to bring Geely technology and electric mobility to an even wider audience.

With further expansion planned, the opening of a second Green 4 Geely dealership gives customers across Coventry, Warwickshire and the surrounding areas even greater access to the brand.
