What is the Benefit-in-Kind rate for the Mazda6e?

The Mazda6e attracts a 4% Benefit-in-Kind rate for the 2026/27 tax year, rising to 5% for 2027/28. Your actual company car tax depends on the vehicle’s P11D value, your income tax rate and individual circumstances. The BIK percentage determines the taxable benefit, rather than the amount of tax you pay directly.

How far can the Mazda6e travel on a full charge?

The UK Mazda6e features a 78kWh battery with an official combined range of up to 348 miles (WLTP). Both Takumi and Takumi Plus use this battery. Actual range varies with driving style, speed, temperature, heating or air-conditioning use and vehicle load.

How long does it take to charge the Mazda6e?

Mazda quotes approximately 15 minutes to charge from 30–80% using a suitable 200kW DC rapid charger under its specified test conditions. Charging will take longer at lower-powered charge points, and actual times depend on battery temperature, charge level and charger performance. You can also charge at a compatible home or workplace charger.

What is the difference between Mazda6e Takumi and Takumi Plus?

Both grades share the same 258PS electric powertrain and 78kWh battery. Takumi offers a choice of Black or Stone Maztex upholstery, Mazda’s vegan alternative to leather. Takumi Plus adds premium Tan Nappa leather with suede cloth seat trim and an electric sunshade for the panoramic glass roof.
